Haiti, 'my country will make it'

Haiti's first lady says 'my country will make it'

Coordinating aid over a faltering phone line, Haiti's first lady Elizabeth Preval insists her country will make it through the disaster of the quake and calls on her compatriots to be strong.

After the rain, there is always rainbow. Yes, be strong and turn away from the past, begin to build the nation, a new nation......a new HOPE....

It is sad, that the earthquake come; it will soon be the past...

It is sad, it is painful; it will soon be over....

Let not the past affect our hope; for a new nation....

No more hunger, where there is milk and honey;

No more fighting, where there is peace,

No more selfishness, where there is love,

And hope for the best to come....

Haiti will build the new nation.... a new Haiti.

(Note: Hati in Malay language is Heart; if Haiti will remove the "I" from Haiti, it is heart. Haiti with "I" as "ONE" included, it is one heart, from the middle of my heart. Haiti will change, with one heart, Haiti will have new hope for better, for a new nation; together with "ONE HEART"..... Berhati-hati(Beware with your heart)....if the Haiti is with "I" as "I or self" included, it is self centered heart, a one person's heart, Haiti will not make it. Let the "l" be one, united, same heart,......one hope, and Haiti will make it..... )

Be strong, united with one hope for a new nation.

With a new heart, a new Haiti will come;

A new Haiti, the new country will make it......

“The large house in which we live demands that we transform this world-wide neighborhood into a world-wide brotherhood,” Martin Luther King Jr. wrote in his last book, published after his murder, “Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community?” “Together we must learn to live as brothers or together we will be forced to perish as fools.”
